Podcast 18: 5:2 Veggie & Vegan special

I’m celebrating my latest book – 5:2 Veggie and Vegan – which has been fantastic fun to research and write. It’s five years since I started intermittent fasting, but I’ve been a vegetarian for almost three decades, so this combines my two favourite food & health approaches.

In this new podcast, I talk about going green – how eating more veggies will superpower your fast days, your weight and your health: you can read more about this in my post.

I also talk about my own history – going from a vegphobic to a dedicated but not too strident vegetarian. Plus there are my tips on how to max out the plant content of your diet to keep you, and your friendly bacteria, in great shape.

I also have a mini rant about the idea of ‘clean eating’ – hope you enjoy it!
